1. Who we are
This website is run by CodeBridge Consulting LLC ("CodeBridge," "we," "us"), based at 450 West Broad St, Ste 312, Falls Church, VA.
2. What we collect
We collect information you choose to give us, and a small amount collected automatically:
- Contact and booking forms: your name, email, phone number, business name, and anything you write in your message.
- Live chat: the name, email, and phone number you enter to start a chat, and the messages you send.
- Job applications: the details and resume you submit through our careers page.
- Client intake forms: if you're a client, the business details, logo, and photos you upload so we can build your project.
- Usage data: we use Google Analytics, which uses cookies to tell us how visitors find and use the site (pages viewed, rough location, device and browser type).
Please don't send passwords or payment card numbers through our forms or chat.
3. How we use it
- To reply to you, schedule calls, and send proposals you asked for
- To do the work we've agreed to do for you
- To review job applications
- To understand how the site is used and improve it
- To keep records we're required to keep, and to protect our business and our clients
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.
4. Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed for that purpose. These include Wix (which hosts this site and stores form submissions, chat messages, and uploads) and Google (analytics). We may also share information if the law requires it, or as part of a sale or merger of our business, in which case this policy would continue to apply.
5. Cookies and analytics
Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. The site still works if you do.
6. How long we keep it
We keep messages and inquiries for as long as they're useful for following up, and client project information for as long as we work together plus any period the law or our agreement requires. Job applications are kept for up to one year. When we no longer need information, we delete it.
7. Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing team@code-bridge.co. We'll respond within 30 days. We may need to keep some information where the law requires it.
8. Information we handle for our clients
When we work for a business, for example answering its calls or managing its systems, we may handle information about that business's own customers. We handle that information on the client's behalf and only to do the agreed work, under our written agreement with that client. If you're a customer of one of our clients, that business's privacy policy applies to you.
9. Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including access limited to the people who need it. No website or online service is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
This site is for businesses and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their information.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed.
